Earth Day: Newcastle City Library

Celebrate Earth Day at Newcastle City Library this Easter!

Their friends from Scotswood Garden are stopping by with an interactive rain garden that shows how we can increase biodiversity and reduce the risk of floods resulting from climate change.

Kids will even get to design their very own rain garden and the three best designs will receive 30 pollinator-friendly plants to make it real!

There'll be a virtual bee hive, a real wax frame, a bee suit to try on and fun craft activities for the whole family - what better way to celebrate Earth Day?

*This is a free to attend, drop-in event. No booking is required.
