What is sound bathing, we hear you say? Well, it's a meditation-like experience aimed at guiding people into a deeply relaxed state with the help of ambient sounds.
If that sounds like your cup of tea, then head over to Great North Museum: Hancock where you're invited to bring along a blanket or cushion and relax among the exhibits for 45 minutes of peaceful sound bathing! Afterwards, Newcastle-based musician Simon Wood for an equally relaxing set played on his hang drums.
