The museum is home to a whole host of collections, artefacts and displays with highlights that include several spectacular objects from Ancient Greece, a full-size replica of a T-rex skeleton, an interactive model of Hadrian's Wall and the Living Planet gallery where visitors can learn about the amazing animals that inhabit our planet's diverse habitats.
Alongside its awe-inspiring artefacts, Great North Museum: Hancock also hosts regular events including its child-friendly Museum Mice series and Great North Nights, which offer guests the chance to explore the museum after hours with themed activities and entertainment.
