Utilita Arena Newcastle Announces Partnership with Blueline Taxis as Official Taxi Partner
Utilita Arena Newcastle is excited to announce a new partnership with Blueline Taxis, making the locally renowned taxi company the official taxi partner of the arena. Blueline Taxis will operate a taxi rank just outside of the arena, which will enhance the visitor experience by providing a reliable, safe, and convenient taxi service directly from the arena on a show night.
As part of the partnership, Blueline Taxis will offer priority drop-off and pick-up zones from the car park at the front of Utilita Arena Newcastle, making taxi travel easier and more efficient for concert-goers and event attendees.
Blueline Taxis, a trusted name in Newcastle for over 65 years, was founded in 1958 by Colin and Audrey Shanks and started as a family-run venture with a bold vision to improve urban transportation in the region. Each year Blueline Taxis serves over 10 million passengers throughout the North East, boasting an exceptional 99.7% satisfaction rating.
Caroline James, General Manager at Utilita Arena Newcastle, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Blueline Taxis as our official taxi partner. Their outstanding reputation for customer service and reliability makes them a perfect fit for our venue. This partnership will improve the ease and efficiency of travel for our guests, helping us deliver the best possible event experience."
Tom Shanks, Finance Director at Blueline Taxis, added: “Partnering with Utilita Arena Newcastle is an exciting step for us. We’re committed to providing safe, comfortable, and timely transportation, and this collaboration allows us to offer a premium service for event goers. We look forward to ensuring that every visitor’s journey is as smooth and enjoyable as the event itself."
The partnership will be officially launched on Thursday 27th March at Premier League Darts.
