The Joy of Spines - Graeme Hawley: The Lit and Phil

Head of Published Collections at the National Library of Scotland, Graeme Hawley, speaks at The Lit & Phil this April.

The Joy of Spines was first performed at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2016, and has now been performed dozens of times. He'll be bringing the show along with him to Newcastle, where his slideshow reveals how the collecting practices of the National Library of Scotland tells the story of who we are as a species.
