Medieval Christmas at Newcastle Castle - the Gateway to Old Newcastle. The original 'New Castle' upon Tyne, the Keep is combining with the ancient Black Gatge in Spring 2015, to form Newcastle Castle, an exciting new heritage attraction overseen by the Old Newcastle Project. Time and Tide Events, specialists in markets and craft events, are taking over the Keep[ and Black Gate for a Medieval Christmas extravaganza. Expect delicious food, olde worlde entertainment and inspired stocking fillers. FREE entry across the three days, Friday 12 - Sunday 14th December, 10am to 5pm.
