Our fair city is steeped in medieval history and what better way to learn all about its fascinating past than a walking tour led by Newcastle Castle?
A guide bedecked in an authentic medieval costume will take you on a tour of the city, stopping off at landmarks like Newcastle’s oldest church St Andrews and the Town Walls.
The tours take place on Saturdays and Sundays 10:30am and 1:30pm and are one-and-a-half hours long – so make sure to wear your comfy shoes! Entry to the Castle is included in the price of the tour.
