Blackfriars' Banquet Hall will be transformed into a spectacle of sound and light with Codex - a video and sound installation created by artists Ross Ashton and Karen Monid that explores the creation of illuminated manuscripts like the Lindisfarne Gospels in the North East.
Durham University researchers involved in Codex will also be on hand to talk to guests with what promises to be an illuminating evening in more ways than one.
