The Wheel Deal - The Cheese Run at Hadrian's Tipi

This might sound super cheesy but you can now take a trip to the Alps without leaving the Toon at The Cheese Run’s ski gondola restaurant. This latest addition to Hadrian’s Tipi is one certainly one you’ll want to check out! Stay out of the cold and hop into the bubble - a huge gondola that looks like it’s dropped straight off a ski run in the Alps - to dig into a cheesy feast.

Give the guys at The Cheese Run a shout in advance and they’ll make sure the bubble is available and heated up for you and your pals. That’s not all; once inside you can hook up
your phone to belt out whatever playlist you wish to make sure those Christmas tunes keep on flowing.

Brace yourselves as you’re about to get swept away in an avalanche of melted cheesy yumminess from the melted raclette inspired by Alpine resorts. Get your hands on some nachos (£3.50) covered in cheese flowing fresh off the wheel with beef chilli, peppers and jalapeños to spice it up and start things off.

Journey to France for a trio of mushrooms with French garlic and onion (£4.50). Swing by Austria for smoked bacon with onion, caraway seeds, paprika/chilli powder and parsley (£5). Hurtle down to Italy for fiery pork paste from Calabria with green peppers and onion (£5) or fly over to Chile for a tasty tomato and corn stew (£4.50). All of these delicious dishes sit on a bed of crushed boiled potatoes and are covered in a generous blanket of raclette cheese.

For a quick bite we recommend one of the sledges (£3) - a half jacket potato skin filled to the brim with enough gooey raclette cheese to boot off your Cheese Run obsession. Hit the slopes bright and early and check out their breakfast and lunch menus all ready for you to sink your teeth into!
