Newcastle Castle and MJ Wedding Planner are set to host an incredible event on Sunday 28th April, with a Wedding Showcase taking over the whole of the historic Newcastle Castle. The Castle Keep and Black Gate buildings will be transformed to give you a glimpse of what a wedding day could look like in these majestic, centuries-old buildings. It’s completely free entry so it’s also a chance for people to explore the Castle at their leisure, with no booking required and a chance to take a glimpse at a truly unique wedding experience and how magical a wedding day could be in the Castle that gave the city its name.
Whether planning a wedding or just wanting a sneak peek at Weddings at Newcastle Castle, this is a unique, captivating and exquisite wedding open day on Sunday 28th April and runs from 12pm until 3pm.
Newcastle Castle is where the story of Newcastle began, with free entry this is your perfect chance to pay a visit to Newcastle Castle and explore this iconic stone building, take in all the history and see the Castle come alive in a whole new way.
The unique and captivating venue boasts the most iconic views in the city, the Castle will be transformed into the most spectacular wedding venue in the heart of the city with the opportunity to meet some of the most inspiring and creative local suppliers; there will be array of fun and treats through the day to help you envision your dream, your wedding, your way.
It's free entry ALL DAY (10am to 5pm) so there's no better day to pay Newcastle Castle a visit.
We’ll have everything from great oak trees adorning the Great Hall for a beautiful Wedding Breakfast, to a breathtaking rooftop ceremony. Enjoy an afternoon filled with wedding wishes and desires with something for all the senses.

ABOUT MJ WEDDING PLANNER
Michelle Jones’ love of weddings was ignited as a young bridesmaid in 1984. This led her to an Art and Events management degree many years later, having since had the pleasure of planning many weddings for special couples as well as hosting numerous events to raise funds for charities within my local community.
