Viva Brazil brings party carnival spirit to Newcastle

Newcastle’s newest dining offer, the award-winning Brazilian restaurant chain Viva Brazil, has already made its mark in the city.
The all-you-can-eat meat lovers’ paradise officially opens its doors to the public today, Friday. But last night the city's movers and shakers, sporting legends and celebrities, were given a sneak exclusive preview.
And there was certainly no shortage of one of the best party atmospheres the city has seen with cocktails flowing throughout the evening, Brazilian dancers entertaining and samba musicians ensuring everyone continued to party well into the night.
The restaurant promises to be a real favourite in the city whether it's a party night, romantic meal, business lunch or family get together - there really is something for everyone at the Grey Street venue.
Owner and managing director of the Viva Brazil restaurant chain, Andy Aldrich, said: “Viva Newcastle is our most ambitious project to date. We’ve really taken to the eccentricity of Brazil and hope to recreate the carnival atmosphere that it is so famous for right here in the party capital of the UK.
“We cater for all needs and occasions. While we are renowned for our meat, we have a number of vegetarian and seafood alternatives to suit all visitors. With a wide selection of drinks and cocktails available at our bar, it is also a great option for anyone looking to start their night in style.”
The Newcastle venture is the chain’s fourth restaurant following successful spells in Liverpool, Glasgow and Cardiff. A fifth restaurant will open in Birmingham later this year.
The restaurant is now taking bookings for lunch and dinner. More information about the restaurant chain can be found at www.vivabrazilrestaurants.com or by calling 0191 260 3533.
