Newcastle United Legends Rob Lee & Nobby Solano to Join on Stage For One Night Only

Newcastle United legends Rob Lee and Nobby Solano are joining on stage to discuss their time in the black and white shirts! At the Tyne Theatre & Opera House on Wednesday 26th March 2025 and just a stone’s throw away from St. James’ Stadium, this will be the ultimate evening for Newcastle supporters.

In 1992 and lasting a glorious decade, Rob Lee was a fan favourite midfielder, winning the Football League First Division in 1993. His childhood hero and Newcastle’ football manager, Kevin Keegan, convinced him to sign up for Newcastle and the team were promoted to the Premier League at the end of his first season. In celebration of his achievements, he was inducted into the Newcastle United Hall of Fame in 2019.

Nobby Solano joined Newcastle United in 1998 and became the first Peruvian to play in the Premier League. He considers himself to be an “adopted Geordie” and the crowds welcomed him for his talent as a midfielder, his trumpet playing and The Geordie Latinos salsa band that he formed. Recently, he has withdrawn as the manager of Blyth Spartans, but has successfully had a managerial career for over a decade.

For this exclusive event where they deep dive into their careers, tickets cost just £36 each! For those wanting to meet their idols, a small number of meet and greet add-ons are available to purchase for an extra £50. Hurry though – these are very limited!

Jonathan Higgins, CEO of the Tyne Theatre & Opera House says, “As a theatre that is so closely situated to St. James’ Park, hosting football events is always very exciting! We’re thrilled to welcome Newcastle legends Rob Lee and Nobby Solano to our venue as part of our exciting 2025 programme.”

Tickets cost £36, with the option to add-on meet and greet for an extra £50. Tickets can be purchased from: https://www.tynetheatreandoperahouse.uk/whatson/an-evening-with-rob-lee-nobby-solano/
