Lichfields, a leading planning and development consultancy, has announced key promotions across the UK, including its Newcastle office.

Firm-wide, 15 promotions have been awarded which also include Jade Scott-Meikle (Edinburgh) and Rachel Clements (London) who have also been promoted to Planning Directors.

Lichfields’ Chief Executive Jim Fennell said: “We’re very pleased to announce these promotions right across the business. We expect the property market will pick up strongly as the policies of the new government begin to take effect and our promoted staff will play a big part in helping us to service an increase in demand for our services. We wish them every success in their new roles.”

In other promotions, Zoe Simmonds (Leeds), Georgia Crowley and Maddie Lane (London) are now Associate Directors. Sophie Bisby, Lily Galek, Alice Green and Rosie Williams (London) and Henry McKenzie (Manchester) have become Senior Planners. Emma Taylor (London) has been promoted to a Senior Economics Consultant.

Planning Director Chris Smith said: “I’m thrilled to be promoted to Planning Director. My career here at Lichfields has been incredibly rewarding and I am excited to continue working with our talented team to navigate the changing planning and development sector.

The current changes in national planning policy present both challenges and opportunities, and I look forward to helping our clients achieve their development goals.”
