Ibiza Classics is back!! Now firmly part of the live music calendar, Pete Tong along with Jules Buckley and The Heritage Orchestra will return with a brand new live show on 22nd November 2018 at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle.
Celebrating the legacy of dance music the show re-imagines some of the White Isle's most iconic records from the past two decades fusing together visual effects and music technology into phenomenal vibrant orchestral interpretations. Having already captured the hearts of millions with sold out dates across the UK, the show promises to be a party like no other.
At the helm is the voice of Radio 1’s prestigious dance programming, Pete Tong. Pete has held a commanding presence over the industry for more than two decades. His unique position has earned him a reputation as one of Britain's most influential figures in electronic dance music.
With its infectious, energetic music reworked by artistic director Chris Wheeler the show will once again be conducted by the highly acclaimed Jules Buckley and accompanied by the 65-piece Heritage Orchestra. Bringing together an all new set up with an array of special guest singers and an unparalleled production, Ibiza Classics is the world's most iconic classical electronic music event. The duo will be joined by special guest DJ People Get Real.
The show’s accompanying album ‘Classic House’ was released last year to overwhelming acclaim, and topped Number One in the UK charts becoming the biggest-selling debut of 2016. Following the huge success of his compilation record, Pete released the follow-up album ‘Ibiza Classics’ late last year.
Ahead of the 2018 tour, Pete Tong, Jules Buckley along with the incredible Heritage Orchestra will be working on a new concept for album number 3… so watch this space for news to come!
