The new exciting, even hair-raising, Newcastle United Roof Top Tours return in April and this is something no supporter will want to miss. The incredible views inside and around St. James Park all adds up to an awesome, spine-tingling and exhilarating journey.
Starting from Level 2 in the Milburn Stand, there will be a short presentation outlining Health and Safety matters followed by the opportunity to view photographs of the tour area just in case guests decide not go ahead. Hopefully that wont be the case though and participants will then be issued with a hard hat, hi viz jacket and a pair of binoculars before heading onwards and upwards.
During the tour there will always be two guides, one at the front and one at the back of the tour. Once on the roof there will be view point arrows showing the route across the roof and in addition there are three viewing platform where visitors can read about landmarks they can see.
Those on the tour will get unprecedented access and magnificent views of the city and beyond in what in many ways is a sightseeing tour rather than a St James Park stadium tour although you do get a superb, if not distant, view of the pitch. At the conclusion of the tour guests will be taken down pitch side to take in the majestic internal view of the stadium and look up in awe at where theyve just been.
From virtually the highest point in the city, you can see for miles and miles in all directions and it all adds up to a quite unique and sensational experience.
