Newcastle's Dragon Boat Race: Newcastle Quayside

Back by popular demand, the Dragon Boat Race is returning to Newcastle Quayside once again this September for a fun-filled day of racing down the River Tyne!
The charity challenge will see teams of between 11 and 16 adrenaline junkies (plus one drummer) take to the Tyne in hopes of paddling their way to victory in dragon-decorated canoes.
Not got your sea legs? Fear not, because there’s tonnes of activities taking place on the Quayside to keep landlubbers entertained while cheering on the racers – from face-painting and lion dancing to games and market stalls!
Better yet, money raised from the Dragon Boat Race will benefit the Newcastle Hospitals Charity!
