Organic Artisan Bread Making: Newcastle College

This Event has passed
Amaze your family and friends by baking effortless artisan loafs that looks and tastes great. The focus of this course is the benefit of using organic ingredients. Whereas Bread for Beginners covers basic principles, this course offers the ideal opportunity for budding bakers to progress their knowledge. Artisan bead is a term that is widely used in business, at the Chefs Academy, artisan bread is all about knowing how to give the correct attention to your bread. Use long and traditional processes which enable you to closely monitor the each loaf to make sure it comes out flawless. Artisan bread often gives more flavour than the conventional, supermarket bought sliced loaf. This is because chemicals are added to speed up the fermentation process. With this workshop, you will discover how slow bread can create a fabulous healthy flavour and texture. The workshop takes place over the course of the day and will include lunch and refreshments. Plus take everything home that you bake. Course dates: 13th, 20th or 27th February
