Join Newcastle City Guides for a John Buddle-focused tour of The Common Room and Lit & Phil with Heritage Open Days 2023.
Meeting at the Lit & Phil, you’ll tour their historic library as tour guides explain Buddle’s life and works before getting the chance to see a newly restored portrait of the man himself. You’ll then move on to the neighbouring Common Room to explore rare and original documents from Buddle’s like including his handwritten diaries.
