Tony is a Mexican Mafia hit-man on Death Row in San Quentin State Prison. His letters to artist and penpal Lyn Hagan, along with those to other women, form part of this exhibition, which also features artwork based on accounts from those most closely involved in Tonys life.
Hagans practice is situated within a long tradition of artists and writers working with prisoners.
