Christmas Lights Switch On: Grey's Monument

The most wonderful time of the year is nearly upon us, and the Toon is kicking off the festive season with the official Christmas Lights Switch On this November!

Head to Grey's Monument on Tuesday 12th November at 6pm where the fun kicks off with Hits Radio breakfast show hosts Steve and Karen who'll be getting the party started with songs, games and live music with help from panto stars from Theatre Royal's The Little Mermaid and maybe even the Big Man in red himself!

Hang around 'til 7pm and see the streets illuminated by twinkling festive lights as Newcastle City Council perform the big switch on.

It's set to be a truly magical moment so grab the kids, your other half, or your pals and gather to witness our wonderful city as it officially welcomes Christmas!
