The Globe is the first bar/music venue in the UK to be owned freehold by a cooperative. It provides a permanent home for Jazz.Coop Newcastle, and a lasting asset for the local music community. The Globe is home to a wide variety of music including jazz, folk, blues, indie, roots and acoustic, DJ and club nights. Jazz.Coop runs a programme of courses, workshops and jam sessions making The Globe a place where musicians can learn, develop and share their skills, as well as a pint or two.
