Northern Stage is a theatre that has been a part of Newcastle’s cultural life since the 1970s. Nestled in the Newcastle University campus, we make and present the very best theatre for people of the North East and beyond.
Proudly Northern, our theatre is a place for people to come together to socialise, have fun, to work, think, debate, perform and to imagine new possibilities for the future.
Our café bar is open daily 9:30am - 4pm (12-3pm on weekends), serving a delicious lunch menu. Breakfast is available before morning performances and our evening menu of sharing boards and pizzas is available before evening performances.
