Based at Newcastle University, the Farrell Centre is a free-to-visit venue that offers the community the chance to discover how architecture and planning shape the contemporary world.
Through exhibitions, debates, talks and tours, visitors can learn about local, national and global challenges facing humanity and how architecture and planning can address issues like climate change and making cities more democratic, sustainable and inclusive.
The Farrell Centre also houses an Urban Room where visitors can learn about the past, present and future of Tyneside's built environment and hosts a range of family-friendly activities offering hands-on learning and fun.
