Cats are king at CatPawCino, a chilled out cat cafe located on Newcastle's beautiful Quayside.
Spread over two floors, the garden-themed cafe's ground-level floor is home to eight resident cats reared by owner Sarah Zong and several rescue cats from local charity Feline Friends (many of whom go on to be rehomed) and features a feline-free basement space offering food and drink.
Entry to the cat lounge costs £7 per person (kids aged 6-16 with autism get free entry) which goes towards vet bills, food and feline entertainment and a percentage of profits are donated to a local cat charity each month.
