All Saints Church

All Saints Church, Image by Sunlight Photography/Wikimedia Commons

Located on the southern end of Pilgrim Street, All Saints Church was built in the late 18th century by local architect David Stephenson.

A stunning neoclassical structure, the Grade I-listed building is England's only elliptical church and is where Northumbrian engineer and Cragside founder Lord Armstrong was baptised.

A grand and beautiful building, All Saints Church's spire is an iconic aspect of the Quayside's skyline and a must-visit for fans of local history.
