Everything You Need to Know About: Come Together Festival

Get set for a summer of amazing music when the first-ever Come Together Festival comes to the Toon

Last updated:

Music fans are in for the summer of their lives when Come Together Festival takes over Newcastle this June.

The brand-new, five-day music festival is bringing a blistering lineup of big-name pop, rock and indie acts to the Toon and it’s an event that’s not to be missed.

Ahead of its arrival, we’ve put together a handy guide to getting the most of this must-do festival with all the info you need – from ticket prices and opening times to lineups and location.

What is Come Together Festival?

It’s a brand-new music festival organised by TEG Europe in association with Newcastle City Council and the Freemen of Newcastle. Taking place over five days, it’s set to be the North East’s biggest ever music festival, bringing an incredible and diverse lineup of talents to Newcastle this summer.

Where and when is it happening?

Come Together Festival is taking place from Wednesday 4th June to Sunday 8th June 2025 at Newcastle’s Town Moor.

Which acts are playing at the festival?

The festival fun kicks off on Wednesday 4th June with headliner Robbie Williams who is joined by a long list of supporting acts including indie rockers the Kaiser Chiefs, Australian Idol winner Guy Sebastian and Irish singer-songwriter Nell Mescal alongside a whole host of homegrown talent including Newcastle’s own Andrew Cushin, South Shields-born rising star Sonny Tennet and fellow sand dancer Perrie Edwards of Little Mix fame.

On Sunday 8th June, American rock giants Kings of Leon headline with support from what festival organisers promise is “an incredible roster of special guests” which includes the Courteeners.

More acts are to be announced over the coming months too, so keep an eye on the festival’s official Facebook and Instagram for lineup updates.

Will food and drink be available?

It certainly will! A range of fully licenced bars and local food vendors will be on hand to keep you fed and watered throughout the festival.

Please note that no external food or drink can be brought into the festival area with the exception of bottled water (so long as it’s no more than 500ml and in an unopened plastic bottle).

A Challenge 25 policy will also be in place, so if you’re lucky enough to look like you’re still in your twenties then don’t forget to bring a valid form of ID – passports, driving licences and PASS cards are accepted.

Are kids allowed to go?

Come Together Festival is an all-ages event, so kids and families are more than welcome. However, children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Can you camp at the festival?

As it’s day festival, there will be no camping at Come Together. If you’re local, that means you get to go home to your own comfy bed for a restful night’s sleep before returning to rock out the following day and if you’re travelling in from further afield, there are plenty of nearby hotels in Newcastle city centre to stay at.

Is there any seating?

Nope, Come Together Festival is a fully standing event and attendees are not permitted to bring their own chairs.

However, accessible tickets are available for attendees with mobility issues and their companions and seating is available in the Greggs VIP Lounge and Platinum VIP Lounge for VIP ticket holders.

When do the festival gates open?

The gates open at 2pm and last entry to the festival is at 9pm.

With five days of amazing music to look forward to, Come Together Festival looks set to be the event of the summer and we couldn’t be more excited – roll on June!
