Tickets Are Released At £100 For The Most Exclusive Magic Show Newcastle Has Ever Seen!

Popular city-centre bar and restaurant, Hibou Blanc, will transform their private dining area into a very intimate theatre venue next month - For what has been dubbed 'The most exclusive magic show that Newcastle has EVER seen!'

Chris Cross, 35, from the West End of Newcastle, is popularly known as 'The Great Magician of the North'. His home city of Newcastle will be the first place audiences can see his brand-new show, where it will debut for three nights only, before touring the UK later this year, with dates TBA. Only twenty audience members will be able to watch each show, with ten pairs of tickets available at £100 per pair. Audience members will be greeted with complimentary fizz and canapes, before being seated for a two-hour performance of close-up magic.

Chris Cross says: "I'm very excited to share my brand-new magic show - it's nothing like I've done before! You may have seen my larger theatre shows around the region, at venues like The Tyne Theatre & Opera House, which holds a few thousand people. This new show will give everyone a front row view. Strictly limited to only twenty people per performance, so that every seat is a great seat; in fact, lots of the audience members will even assist with tricks in the show, at some point! Everyone will have a front row view. It's not going to be your normal stage magic show - there are no cameras. There's no smoke. And there's no mirrors. Simply one table, twenty seats, some smaller objects, a pack of cards and a pair of hands!  The tricks in the show are good enough to give Las Vegas a run for its money. I've been practicing and perfecting sleight-of-hand for almost 25 years and I'm sure my fellow Geordies will love the show - but it's more than just a magic show - it's an intimate experience that I hope my audiences will never forget."

Cross began his career as a magician 25 years ago and after watching Paul Daniels on-stage at the age of 13 at The Whitley Bay Playhouse, he began working semi-professionally around the bars and clubs in the city, before leaving Ryton Comprehensive School, to become full-time at 16. He's never looked back and he's arguably become the leading magician in the North East of England. His act has taken him from Newcastle to New York and even to New Zealand.

He performs at many VIP events, private weddings and corporate events around the region - and around the World. He's performed on BBC's The One Show, CBBC's the Slammer and other TV appearances. In 2016, he dangled himself upside-down from Newcastle's iconic Castle Keep and performed a successful upside-down daredevil straitjacket escape. He's performed for British & International Royalty and for hundreds of celebrities around the globe - from The Arctic Monkeys to Alice Cooper, Mike Tyson to David Hasselhoff - and at private events for our own Sam Fender & Alan Shearer. American magician, David Blaine, asked Cross to perform as a special guest on his tour, at his Edinburgh Playhouse show in 2019.

Don't miss witnessing a master of his art, performing in the city-centre, with his new show on February 20th - 22nd.

Pairs of tickets have just been released and are priced at £100 per couple. Be quick, before they all disappear!
