Sounds Like a Fantastic Time at The Hoppings...

The return to the North East of Europe’s biggest travelling fair is music to the ears of the region’s entertainers.

The Hoppings returns to Newcastle’s Town Moor from Friday 21 to Sunday 30 June, bringing with it hundreds of rides, sideshows, family-friendly attractions and great food.

And once again the event will also feature a whole host of fantastic musical entertainment, which will run every evening during the run of the fair.

The programme covers every single kind of musical genre, from rock to pop to indie and even country.

The musicians will be performing covers of well-known tracks from over the past 50 years, with the aim of providing something for everyone.

Sessions will run daily from 5pm to 7pm and from 7pm to 9pm, apart from on Sunday 22 June when the performers will appear from 2pm to 4pm and from 4pm to 6pm and on the final Sunday where there will be one session running from 4pm to 6pm.

The line-up will differ each day – meaning that visitors who visit more than once will be treated to a whole new musical programme each time.

“It’s a great opportunity for them to perform before a large, live audience and for our visitors it is just another reason to visit.”
