The Return of Newcastle Cocktail Week this March

Newcastle, get ready to shake, stir, and sip your way through the city's second Cocktail Week which takes place this March.
From Friday 21st to Sunday 30th of March 2025, Newcastle will once again transform into a vibrant playground for cocktail enthusiasts, with 50+ city centre venues offering up £5 signature cocktails, a blend of experiences and exclusive deals exclusively to Cocktail Week wristband holders.
The 10-day extravaganza will feature some of the city's most renowned restaurants, bars, pubs and clubs, each bringing their unique flair to the celebration. Whether you’re a cocktail connoisseur, a casual sipper, or even prefer non-alcoholic versions, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
More than 50 venues have already signed up to take part in the event which will encourage further footfall into the city centre and will also help attendees uncover new bars while shining a light on some of Newcastle’s favourite locals, too. From trendy spots like The Alchemist and NQ64 to hidden gems like Colonel Porters and Miso & Odio Bar, the event covers a diverse range of venues, each offering something special.
For those who love to enjoy drinks when dining out, restaurants such as Gusto Italian, which is famed for its stunning interior and refreshing drinks, Hard Rock Cafe, Gaucho, Bar+Block, Chaophraya are also on the roster for Newcastle Cocktail Week.
Anyone with a Newcastle Cocktail Week wristband will be able to take advantage of the several delicious discounts that will be available throughout. All venues will be offering a £5 signature cocktail for wristband holders, with many putting on additional food and drink offerings.

Wristbands will be available for collection from NQ64 during the evenings from 14th March onwards.

The Gate is one of the official partners of year two’s event which has been organised by marketing firm, M.ad Agency, who are responsible for several Cocktail Week events across the country. The Gate will have several participating venues such as The WonderBar and Mojo getting involved in the showcase.
