Pat Robson & Co Celebrates 25 Years of Residential Sales, Lettings and Property Management
Pat Robson & Co. are a leading Property Agent across Newcastle upon Tyne and, this month, they are delighted to be celebrating 25 Years of Residential Sales, Lettings and Property Management. Co-Founder and Director, Tim Nixon, has commented on the occasion.
“I launched the business back in 1998, with my business partner, Pat Robson, and today in 2023, we are delighted to be celebrating 25 years in business.
Our founding ethos back in 1998 was to provide the best customer service that we could to all clients, landlords, tenants, vendors and purchasers, and 25 years on I am proud to say that delivering excellent customer service remains very much at the heart of what we do.
Of course back in 1998 things were very different. It was the analogue era, there was no digital advertising, no Rightmove, no Zoopla and no Google reviews. We relied very heavily on personal recommendation and word-of-mouth so we had to do a really good job. We spent our early years forging exclusive agency agreements with a number of blue-chip organisations and regional and national employers, in order that we could provide our landlord clients with the best possible corporate tenants. A quarter of a century on, we remain very much the go-to agency in the city for administrating corporate and company lets.
As Newcastle expanded and regenerated around the early millennium, with the arrival of The Sage, The Baltic and the building of the East Quayside, we expanded our professional lettings department and cemented our reputation as the cities largest provider of high quality, residential professional lets.
We went on to develop our student letting department becoming experts in complex HMO regulations, and forging strong links with the cities Universities and higher educational establishments. Later, we developed our successful estate agency operation specialising in the sale of family homes and also high yielding residential investment stock. During recent years we have engaged in a number of successful merges and acquisitions, with the successful amalgamation into Pat Robson & Company of Bellwood Associates, Charles Lamb Residential Lettings and most recently Ashburton Lettings, resulting in a managed portfolio of almost 1000 properties across the city.
