Marisam Events Launches New Monthly Music Showcase: Elevate 22 at Newcastle’s Newgate Social
Maria Winter and Sam Harris, Co-Founders of the female-led events company Marisam Events, are excited to announce the launch of Elevate 22, a brand new monthly music showcase set to take the region’s live music scene to new heights. Hosted at Newcastle’s brand-new live music venue, Newgate Social, Elevate 22 promises to be a premier platform for emerging North East artists and bands.
Building on the success of Marisam’s acclaimed Platform 22 gig series, Elevate 22 will feature standout winners from their Platform 22 competitions, along with a handpicked selection of up-and-coming local talent. This unique event gives three original artists the chance to perform their own music in front of a live audience, all competing for the coveted prize of two headline gigs at Newgate Social.
Each showcase will invite the public to vote for their favourite act, giving fans the power to help shape the region’s next big music stars. Not only does Elevate 22 provide a launchpad for these exceptional musicians, but it also offers audiences the exciting opportunity to discover the next hit-maker in the North East.
