FRED's at Fenwick Newcastle Launches New Menu and Family Afternoon Tea
This week sees the launch of a new menu at FRED’s Newcastle, including a special Easter offer of children’s free dining from Monday 14 April until Sunday 27 April (T&Cs apply).
FRED’s at Fenwick Newcastle is the go-to in-store dining destination for delicious pre-shopping brunch, a classic afternoon tea with a twist during your in-store shopping experience, or a well-earned post-shopping bite paired with a glass of champagne. Inspired by founding family member Fred Fenwick’s passion for French culture and the Belle Epoque era, FRED’s is a contemporary take on the Terrace Tea Room, which he originally opened at Fenwick Newcastle in 1911.
Launching today, Fenwick Newcastle presents a selection of new menu icons to shoppers including a selection of premium sandwiches featuring locally sourced produce, authentic pasta dishes and a renewed quintessential English Afternoon Tea.
The breakfast offering includes artisan coffee, fresh pressed juices and viennoiseries (breakfast pastries made in the style of Vienna, Austria) handmade by Fenwick’s in-house patisserie chefs. The new all-day menu features signature classics like FRED's Club Sandwich and Caesar Salad alongside new Italian-inspired additions including Rigatoni Arrabbiata and Spinach & Ricotta Tortelloni. Brunch lovers can enjoy favourites such as eggs benedict, smashed avocado on toast and Belgian waffles served throughout the day, alongside speciality drinks including the new strawberry matcha latte. For post-shopping pick-me-ups, shoppers and diners a-like can choose from a carefully selected wine list, sparkling options, and signature cocktails like the marmalade margarita.
FRED's is located in the East Atrium of Fenwick Newcastle’s lower ground floor and is open 9am – 6pm Monday – Wednesday and Friday & Saturday, 9am – 7pm Thursday’s and 11AM – 5pm Sundays.
