Festive Sessions to Make Your Hartbeep at the Newcastle Christmas Village

A popular baby and toddler group is bringing some festive magic to playtime this winter with sessions at Newcastle Christmas Village.

Hartbeeps runs classes specifically designed for babies and pre-schoolers - covering everything from play to baby massage - at venues throughout the North East.

And now they are bringing their own brand of fun to the Newcastle Christmas Village, at Old Eldon Square … where Santa Claus himself is in residence.

The village is offering a whole host of family friendly activities from November 16 until Christmas Eve and at its centre is Santa Stories; a double tipi where young people will be greeted by elves and given tasks by Santa to see if they are on the naughty or nice list.

This is also the venue for the Hartbeeps sessions, with the first being held this Saturday (16 Nov) from 2pm to 3pm will take place from 2pm to 3pm, when class leaders, dressed as cheerful elves, will bring tiny tots a magical hour of fun and play.

This will include dancing and music, puppets and special holiday visitors, with lots of photo opportunities.

Hartbeeps will be hosting regular sessions throughout the run of Newcastle Christmas Village, and tickets cost £9.50 each for the one hour session which includes a drink for the child who can be accompanied by up to two adults.

Bookings can be made at https://www.fatsoma.com/search?query=hartbeeps

Nigel Holliday, one of the directors of Evnt Inspirations which is delivering the village on behalf of Newcastle City Council and NE1 said Hartbeeps would be an exciting addition to the programme of events.

Families with young children and toddlers know all about Hartbeeps and love them,” he said.

This is a real opportunity to enjoy their amazing activities in a fantastic setting."

Other Newcastle Christmas Village attractions include live music and children’s entertainment at the Rocking Reindeer Stage, with performances by schools and local choirs to rides on a vintage carousel.

And youngsters can also sign up for the Elf School – a 30-minute workshop where they will learn how to make a Christmas decoration, sing songs and make magic dust – with each receiving a certificate to show they are a qualified elf.

There will be a letterbox for children to post letters to Santa and two Santa virtual reality experiences; a sleigh ride to see Father Christmas and a ski jump.

The Newcastle Christmas Village is one of a number of festive elements being brought to the city by Evnt Inspirations the team behind the pop-up alpine bar Moosenwirt on Grey Street and the North Pole-themed food and drink area around Grey’s Monument.

Entry to the village is free but there are costs for the individual elements.

Early booking is advised to avoid disappointment. For further information and to book for any sessions or for the pods at Grey’s Monument visit www.moosenwirt.co.uk
