Celebrate In The Shadows This Halloween at Four Quarters Newcastle
This Halloween, the UK’s original arcade bar, Four Quarters Newcastle invites guests to kick-start Halloween weekend with themed nights, inspired by the hit US TV show ‘What We Do In The Shadows’ taking place on Friday 27th – Saturday 28th October.
Game lovers can expect two nights of horror as they enter a spooktacular venue dedicated to the world of the undead. Playing homage to the iconic movie and television series ‘What We Do In The Shadows’, a popular US comedy horror series about four vampire housemates who live in suburban Staten Island, visitors can experience an unforgettable night, including screenings of the hit series, non-stop music and endless games. Expect a dressed-up venue with tons of references to the show, whether it’s being transported to Nadjas, cursed witches hats or avoiding flying bats!
Sip on a selection of the finest drinks served by bartenders dressed as show favourites, and food served by a wraith as you dive into the world of the supernatural. Halloween themed cocktails include the Burial, a fruity concoction combining Raspberry Absolut, refreshing Cranberry Juice, fresh Elderflower Liqueur, citrusy Lemon, and simple syrup topped with Coke and garnished with delicious raspberries. Energy vampires can opt for the Updog, a blood sucking mixture of Beefeater Blood Orange Gin, refreshing Cranberry juice, sweet Orange Juice, zesty lemon, and a shot of Grenadine, topped with energising Watermelon Red Bull.
Whether guests see themselves as a Jackie Daytona, Lazlo or The Baron, everyone is encouraged to have fun and get dressed up in costumes inspired by the show. There will be a chance for the best dressed, and most creative costumes to win prizes including some fangtastic What we do in the Shadows merch!
Four Quarters offers a range of classic games, delightful drinks, and a variety of spaces perfect for parties and events. With over 30 arcade games, guests can travel back in time as they compete in classic games including Time Crisis 3, Sega Rally, Street Fighter 2, pinball machines and Guitar Hero complete with an added level of Halloween fear.
