Avison Young Announce New Senior Appointment at Newcastle Office

Gordon Hewling welcoming Kashaf Ali to Avison Young

Avison Young, the global real estate advisor, has made a further senior appointment in the building team at their Newcastle office.

Kashaf Ali, who joins as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, holds a B Sc in Quantity Surveying from Northumbria University and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He joins from Turner and Townsend, where he gained considerable experience working in cost management roles across real estate within the commercial, residential, life sciences, education and health sectors. He will be involved with all aspects of quantity surveying and project management on major developments, throughout the north-east and beyond.

The opportunity to engage in the many transformational projects that are reshaping the city is a truly exciting prospect; I look forward to collaborating with the team to drive these schemes to completion.”

Avison Young’s Building and Project Consultancy team in Newcastle is currently involved with building and development projects with a combined value of circa £1 billion. This includes the regeneration of Pilgrim Street and several large nationwide office, logistic hubs, leisure and residential schemes.
